Hanna chose to style herself in an Indo-French look, opposed to the usual myriad of colours worn by brides on their Mehendi. She described, "A pant and crop top set with a Khaleesi-like cape that I paired with traditional polki and emerald jewellery with matching emerald tassels on the outfit to match my necklace."
"Shahrukh and I started speaking 4 years ago on Facebook. The first date went on for hours and we haven’t stopped speaking ever since. It feels like it was just meant to be."
On the day of the Haldi, Hanna wore a yellow Bandhi sharara, adorned with Benarasi embroidery and the old world traditional marori embroidery.
The sangeet was nothing but modern Indian. Hanna donned an unusual shade of lilac ball gown made of lace applique tonal embroidery of crystal beads, sequins, and many more. A tryst with tradition and beyond.
"The most annoying part was just the confusion and uncertainty that loomed over our heads. This long wait has been stressful and re-planning an entire wedding had definitely been a little annoying and tiresome. However, it was all worth it in the end."
Hanna believes the Nikkah to be the most beautiful event of all, pictorially and she chose to wear an unconventional colour- lavender and the making of which took almost 4000 hours of flawless handwork.
"Ohaila, my sister was the most involved person. she has single-handedly overlooked the entire wedding. Her department was wardrobe but she brought her aesthetic taste love and hard work and perfectionist attitude to give me my dream wedding by taking on the role of a parent more than just a sister or a designer."
Hanna wore a rose gold, Ellie Saab Couture gown, that spread over a circumference of 20 metres. It was a dream come true for her as she informed, "I felt like a real-life queen in this one and love that I filled the entire dance floor with my outfit. I styled it with Crystal Loubs and an elegant diamond and yellow sapphire necklace."
"To me my entire Nikkah ceremony was pictorially the most beautiful event. There was magic in the air, twilight in the sky and a floral shower which felt like thousands of rose petals raining from the heavens to bless my new life."
The outfits for the bride for all events were taken care of by Ellie Saab and Ohaila Khan. Meera Sakhrani handled the bride's make-up. Recall Pictures handles the photography on all days while mpirevents managed the events and Atisuto Events were handed the responsibility of furnishing. Hair was managed by Ritika Hairstylist. For the groom, Mehndi outfit was arranged by Avinash Punjabi, Sangeet was done by Falguni Shane Peacock, Nikaah by Shantanu and Nikhil and for the Reception, Gaurav Gupta handled it.
